Why You Should Be a Chevy Volt Enthusiast Too

We’re sure you’ve heard ‘this and that’ about the Chevy Volt and well, it’s a great Chevy so of course there will be something to talk about. We’d like to clear up any misconceptions or rumors you may have come across. The Chevy Volt is a great option out of the line-up of Green’er vehicles out there; we like to think it’s the best option. Here are a few facts about the Volt we would love for you to know;

1. As you drive through life in a Chevy Volt, you’ll leave a smaller carbon footprint.
2. The Volt is made here in the USA! Michigan to be exact.
3. It runs on energy that comes from California.
4. This is one of Chevy’s Sports Cars! It has great handle, power & technology.
5. Depending on how you drive, you may never have to buy gas again!
6. The Chevy Volt is the ONLY American car selected as Car of the Year in Europe.

These are all great reasons to drive a Chevy Volt, don’t you agree?!

Mayor Greenbaum's Extended Test Drive

Mount Olive Mayor Robert Greenbaum recently took an extended test drive in one of Route 46 Chevrolet's Volts. He took to his Facebook account and gave play-by-play and personal opinions on the Volt. Mayor Greenbaum took the Volt on a variety of weekend activities including stopping at ShopRite, going to the gym and filling up at the gas station.

When asked how he liked the car, Mayor Greenbaum took to Facebook and stated "Very solid, seems well put together, decent pick up, really quiet." While Mayor Greenbaum did have to stop at the pump to fill up, it only cost him $20. Later on that night he was able to charge the Volt up at home. On average he Volt will be completely charged in 10 hours.

Upon his return to Route 46 Chevrolet, Mayor Greenbaum was very enthusiastic and wanted to take a spin in another Chevy model. Mayor Greenbaum even jumped into a Corvette and posted a picture to his Facebook joking that he may have to test drive this model next! Check out our Volt inventory and other models today!
