24 Express Vans

Although Hurricane Sandy made landfall back in October, many of our friends and family are still feeling the effects of it today. As much as we all would like to put the past behind us this Holiday Season, the reality is that some of us are still pulling out of the damage. Here at Route 46 Chevrolet, now more than ever, we are proud to be a part of the Chevrolet Family.

Chevrolet has donated two-dozen Express Vans to Habitat for Humanity to aid in the recovery process in New Jersey and New York. Combined with the hundreds of tools donated by Lowe’s and the Robert Bosch Tool Co. the Chevrolet Express Vans will be put to work helping communities recover from Hurricane Sandy. The vans are the latest contribution by Chevrolet, General Motors and the GM Foundation to Sandy relief efforts that total more than $2.8 million.

GM Chairman and CEO Dan Akerson has stated that “As the initial reports of Sandy’s devastation recede from the headlines, now the hard work of recovery begins to help affected communities and people get back on their feet.

Your family here at Route 46 Chevrolet would like to thank all of the first responders and volunteers who aided in Hurricane Sandy and all of those who continue to help get the damaged areas back on their feet. From our family to yours we want to wish you all a Happy and Healthy Holiday Season.
